Just to update you – because I know you’ve been holding your breath – it looks like Right Boob is slowly getting back in the game. It’s not as sore as yesterday and I managed to get 70ml out of it on the last pump. I know, I know, it’s wonderful news, but really, there’s no need to send cards or flowers…
I’ve been feeling pretty rough the last two days. My whole body has been aching, particularly my back, and I’ve had no energy and I’m pretty sure I have a fever. After my shower this morning I ended up with my head over the toilet dry retching. Not entirely sure what it is but I felt a bit better this evening so I’ve optimistically chosen to ignore it unless it gets worse.
To add to my delightful day, Amelie – or AJ, as Uncle Michael calls her – decided to projectile vomit on me twice today. When daddy got home he said she smelt like a South African men’s locker room. Not sure why that would smell any worse than an Irish one but I think he may have been reminiscing. So anyway, we’ve bathed and changed and we really should be nice and calm now but instead she’s lying beside me wide awake and making a lot of noise. Definitely stomach issues. Brendan is the official gas extractor in our house; I refer to him as the wind machine. Better go wake him up.
